How Long does Bridal Hair & Makeup Take?

One of my most asked questions from my brides is how long their bridal hair & makeup will take on the morning of their wedding? So for any brides-to-be who are trying to plan, I hope this helps!

For me & my brides, I always will have a trial 6-8 weeks before the wedding day which will give me a chance to meet the bride and we are able to try a few bridal looks and decide on the favourite. This will allow me to save some time on the wedding day as I will already know what I need to do. I will always note down the products I use at the trial so I can just reach directly for them on the wedding day.

So taking all of this into consideration, as an artist who does both hair & makeup, I will usually allocate 90 minutes for my bride's hair & makeup. This may differ slightly if the bride has longer/ thicker hair or wants a more complex hairstyle. But typically it will take around an hour & a half. Hiring someone that can do both hair & makeup really helps to streamline the process and saves so much time on the wedding morning.

If you're wondering how long your artist will take, please drop them a message because we do have an idea and it can help you plan how your wedding morning will go!
